HODIE MIHI CRAS TIBI

Hodie Mihi Cras TibiĀ is a latin motto thatĀ means “Today it’s me, tomorrow it will be you”.

It’s very common to find it as a Memento Mori in churches and gravestones all over Europe, expecially in Italy. The illustration depicts the cycle of life, with Death and the fatigued and oblivious humanity chasing each other non stop.
