Me and other italian authors with a link to underground cultures were asked to create an alternative poster for the movie Margini, which premiered at the 79th Venice Film Festival, winning the Audience Prize and nominated for two David of Donatello prizes.
It’s a story about friendship, punk-rock music and both things’ related troubles among a group of scenesters from the suburbs of Grosseto, Tuscany.
I agreed instantly because It spoke a lot about my youth; music and football pins on a “Orange Tab” denim jacket was the first thing I envisioned, because – of course- every punk-rocker has one, me included at the time.
